Neighborhood
Ansley Park
Ansley Park is located on the eastside of midtown and was the first neighborhood in Atlanta designed specifically for automobiles. The streets are wide and winding (rather than the grid-like city streets designed for public transit) and lined with extensive landscaping. Ansley Park is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places and features an eclectic array of houses built in the early 1900’s. Nature lovers are drawn to Ansley Park due to the beautiful greenspaces, Winn Park and McClatchey Park, as well as the Ansley Golf Club and the proximity to nearby Piedmont Park and the popular Eastside trail of Atlanta’s Beltline. Fun nightlife can be found at Ansley Square and great eats are always enjoyed at the wealth of local restaurants, including Bangkok Thai, Eclectic Bistro & Bar, and Cafe Agora.
